Experienced Customer Service Specialist – Retail and Wholesale Sales

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, including in-person and over-the-phone interactions
• Assisting customers in determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Building productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, including identifying and meeting their needs
• Processing sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
• Achieving sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, while ensuring maximum client satisfaction
• Maintaining precise work order files and formulas, as well as pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tinting and mixing products, as needed, to customer specifications
• Stocking shelves and setting up displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment
• Cleaning store equipment and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks, as well as assisting with deliveries as needed
• Maintaining in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, including ensuring that products are properly displayed and easily accessible
• Remaining knowledgeable on products offered and discussing available options with customers
• Complying with inventory control procedures, including monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies
• Suggesting ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
• If internal to arenaflex, have received at least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal
• If internal to arenaflex, have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position

Nice-to-haves

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial in this role:

• Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Have at least a High School diploma or GED
• Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
• Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
• Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
