Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of our development team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions that meet the complex needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java-based software applications, including back-end systems, APIs, and web applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, application owners, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions
• Develop and maintain large-scale, distributed systems, including microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and data storage solutions
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of software applications, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of the development process
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development
• Mentor junior developers, provide guidance, and support their growth and development

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in Java development, including experience with Java frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate
• Proficiency in Java programming languages, including Java 8 and later versions
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, including object-oriented design, microservices architecture, and event-driven design
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, including AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring
• Experience with cloud-based databases, including NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Cassandra
• Strong understanding of security principles, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing
• Experience with testing frameworks, including JUnit and TestNG
• Familiarity with version control systems, including Git and SVN
