Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality customer service to millions of plan members, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interacting with members via phone, email, and other communication channels, using your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address their concerns and provide solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including pharmacists, medical directors, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions, using our proprietary software and systems to track and manage member information.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest developments in healthcare and pharmacy benefits management.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about health insurance, drug coverage, and prescriptions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards.
  • Adhere to HIPAA compliance and federal regulations.

Essential Qualifications

* 1 year of customer interaction experience (e.g., call center, retail, customer service, hospitality industry, military).

  • Computer experience with Windows-based applications.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to solve problems in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to get comfortable with patients in a helpful way that shows your interest in improving their quality of life.
  • Reliability and compliance with certain standards.
  • Patience and understanding, able to convey trust and confidence.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone communication and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the healthcare industry or pharmacy benefits management.

  • Certification in customer service or a related field.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment.
