Job Summary

As an Experienced Remote Online Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through live online chats, email, and phone support. You'll work closely with our Online Chat Manager to resolve customer issues, promote our products and services, and build strong relationships with our clients. This is a remote position, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home, making it an ideal opportunity for those who value work-life balance.

Responsibilities

* Answer incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Evaluate customer interactions and escalate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
  • Build relationships with new customers to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor your responses to meet their expectations
  • Respond to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately, ensuring a positive and professional image
  • Promote interest in client products and services through targeted communication and upselling opportunities
  • Consistently achieve established standards of the position, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Continually portray and project a positive and professional image, both online and offline
  • Provide administrative support to the customer service team, including data entry, reporting, and other tasks as needed
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed, including phone support and email management

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, customer service) preferred

  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or online environment
  • Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different personalities and communication styles
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and software, including data entry and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
