We're seeking an organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in a hybrid work setup, where you'll have the flexibility to work remotely and collaborate with our team in Lubbock, TX, one day a week.
Job Overview
As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for managing data inputs, overseeing inventory records, and executing administrative tasks that are essential for streamlined seed supply operations. You'll work closely with our Cotton Planning Team to ensure accurate data entry, inventory management, and administrative support. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our data and ensuring the efficient operation of our seed supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately input and maintain data in digital formats, including spreadsheets and databases, to ensure seamless data management and reporting.
- Verify and rectify data discrepancies as necessary to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Keep inventory records current in SAP and other relevant systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of seed inventory.
- Review Bills of Lading to ensure the receipt of necessary samples and confirm that correct tests are conducted and standards are upheld.
- Collaborate with production managers to authorize the shipment of approved batches and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manage material extension requests and address issues related to BOMs, recipes, and quality inspection plans to ensure efficient seed supply operations.
- Collaborate with finance teams to assure accurate costing information and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Extract data from SAP and generate reports utilizing tools such as Power BI to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
- Create visual data representations, including charts and KPIs, to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Seed Supply Team as required to ensure seamless operation of our seed supply chain.
Required Skills
* 1-3 years of relevant experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field (training will be provided to enhance your skills and expertise).
- High school diploma or GED (verification required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills to ensure accurate data entry and inventory management.
