Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team at arenaflex. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our business through data analysis, investigation, and interpretation. You will be responsible for providing key insights and recommendations to drive business growth and success across various product and development areas. This is a part-time, remote position that requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble and present complex data analyses, visualizations, and reports that provide critical support to business decisions and initiatives

• Answer business questions and provide expert knowledge on various product and business streams to improve customer experience and drive conversions
• Advance the scientific capabilities of the business by collaborating in the design of analytical solutions and delivering actionable insights and products
• Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data
• Apply statistical methods (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, regression, factor analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business impact
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions to drive growth and success

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics)

• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst in an analytics and data science space with strong SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, high-level analysis, and data visualization
• Experience in delivering end-to-end analysis projects: from unclear requirements to a compelling story, open to different audiences, and ultimately to a clear business outcome
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical partners
• Ability to present to senior leadership and communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner

Good to Have Qualifications

* Master's degree in a quantitative field

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly)
• Experience with marketing landing pages, join channels, and business spaces
• Ability to identify and escalate issues to management
• Counseling or MBA background, or other multi-industry experience
• Strong motivation and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Humor and ability to connect with others
• Unique interests or areas of expertise that impact the way you interact with others and approach your work
