Job Summary

As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving operational excellence in our fulfillment network. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance, while also ensuring customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results and drive business growth

• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks and duties
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud, and in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs) to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, operations, or related field preferred

• 2+ years of experience in operations, customer service, or related field
• Proven track record of leading teams and driving business results
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

* Experience in a fulfillment or logistics environment

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Experience working with hourly workforce
