As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in leading our AWS IT Services Support team, which provides highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide. You will be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources, assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience, and owning the strategies to create that experience. You will also help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement, and set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide

  • Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
  • Help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
  • Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
  • Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
  • Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve customer experiences
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed

Essential Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations

  • 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
  • Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a cloud-based environment, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices
  • Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow or BMC Helix
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with process improvement and change management initiatives

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

At arenaflex, we offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
  • Bonus: up to 20% of annual salary
