Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

As a Part-Time Remote Area Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting, mentoring, and motivating your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
  • Managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations
  • Collaborating with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives
  • Lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching to perform tasks
  • Standing or walking for up to 12 hours during shifts in a fast-paced environment
  • Working in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading departments
  • Continuously climbing and descending stairs (applicable to sites with stairs)

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management position, preferably in a customer-facing or operations environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience in a similar role or industry, such as logistics, transportation, or customer service
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA regulations
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's systems and processes, including our Operations network
  • Certification in a relevant field, such as logistics or supply chain management
