Remote (with occasional on-site work at our Corporate Grounds in Dallas, TX)

Work Hours:

40 hours per week

$28 per hour

Responsibilities and Expectations:

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components
  • Helping with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders
  • Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities
  • Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding
  • Helping with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements
  • Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the Group
  • Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
  • Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
  • May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., data analysis, statistics, mathematics, computer science)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present them in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences
  • Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools and capacities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase (desired)
  • Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning
  • Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications (desired)
  • Past internship, capstone project, or research coursework experience (desired)
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment
  • Ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual
  • Past internship experience in a related field (desired)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to plan and support large business initiatives
