Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you'll be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, performing various pharmacy-related tasks, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time remote position with a competitive salary of $75,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions
- Perform various pharmacy-related tasks, such as filling prescriptions, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues
- Develop strong relationships with customers and patients
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly pharmacy department
- Comply with all company guidelines and procedures
- Complete special assignments and other responsibilities as assigned
Essential Qualifications
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prefer previous work experience with arenaflex
- Desire math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Desire computer skills
- Desire knowledge of store inventory management
- Prefer PTCB certification
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of pharmacy systems and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
