Job Summary

As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing and managing customs documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and government agencies to provide accurate and timely information, and ensure that all shipments are processed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Process and manage customs documentation, including import and export declarations, certificates of origin, and other relevant documents
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those related to customs, trade, and transportation
  • Work closely with internal teams, clients, and government agencies to provide accurate and timely information
  • Process organization financier shipments and may handle distant filings
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments, including documentation and tracking information
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, logistics, or business administration

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 6 months of work experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with data entry and computer systems, including Viewpoint and Office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in customs trade, logistics, or a related field

  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and guidelines
  • Familiarity with customs software and systems
  • Certification in customs brokerage or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
