Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and organized Data Entry Assistant to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our business databases. As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll be responsible for collecting and entering data from various sources, including employees, other departments, and clients. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that our databases are up-to-date and reflect the latest developments, updates, and transactions. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent data and ensuring accuracy.
  • Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering data into relevant databases.
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored securely.
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered and resolving issues promptly.
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
  • Handling additional duties from time to time, as required by the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service.
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, with the ability to create accurate spreadsheets and reports.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
  • Proficient touch-typing skills, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills would be an asset in this role:

  • Experience with data entry software, such as Excel, Access, or other database management systems.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based storage solutions, such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Certification in data entry, administration, or customer service.
