Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Demand Planning to join our team and lead the demand planning process for our Americas Business Unit (BU). As a key member of our planning team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing demand plans that drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs. This is a work-from-home opportunity that offers the flexibility and autonomy to work remotely while being part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, Demand Planning, you'll be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • S&OP Process Support: Provide support to the S&OP process across the BU, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting, and driving business growth through data-driven insights.
  • Demand Planning: Develop and present approved long-term demand plans in Succeed, Anaplan/SAP, and other necessary systems, hitting agreed-upon accuracy and bias targets.
  • Anaplan/SAP Management: Manage Anaplan/SAP master data, including measurable gauging modules and the planning cycle, to ensure accurate and timely forecasting.
  • Forecasting: Approve forecasts within Anaplan to enable the execution of the organization's ABP/most recent revised estimate/LRP.
  • New Product Launches: Rapidly and accurately launch new products to mitigate risks and drive business growth.
  • Collaboration: Work with business functional groups to understand how new positions, new products, and missions influence demand and adjust plans accordingly.
  • S&OP Cycle: Input during the S&OP cycle, featuring approved demand plans, highlighting any stock risks, such as NPD/delist, supply limitations, lingering, and outdated stock, and driving results.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years of Experience: At least 5 years of significant experience in demand planning, preferably in the FMCG/Retail industry.
  • Demand Planning Framework: Experience with demand planning frameworks, such as Anaplan/SAP or similar systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive business decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including business leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
  • Microsoft Excel: High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex models and analyze data.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems, including Anaplan/SAP or similar systems.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, sales teams, and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Master's Degree: A master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as the Certified Demand Planner (CDP) or the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the FMCG/Retail industry, with a focus on demand planning and supply chain management.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business results.
