Our Southwest Business Department is dedicated to becoming the preferred airline for business travel and carrying the most Business Customers. Key Responsibilities

As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for:

  • Coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
  • Executing strategic direction for SLED managed travel accounts
  • Increasing sales and establishing formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Broadening awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services
  • Identifying, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Collaborating with fellow Leaders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management position, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and establishing partnerships
  • Strong coaching and development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a remote environment, with occasional travel for training, meetings, and conferences

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of the SLED managed travel industry and its trends
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
  • Experience with sales and marketing strategies
  • Certification in a related field, such as travel or hospitality management

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off
  • Perks: free or discounted travel on arenaflex, access to our online learning platform, and opportunities for professional development and growth
