Key Responsibilities

As a part-time Cybersecurity Analyst and Network Protection Examiner Understudy, you'll play a critical role in our Incident Response Team, working closely with experts to analyze, mitigate, and recover from digital threats. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with business clients to conduct needs assessments related to systems and business processes to develop high-quality technical solutions
• Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and departmental standards
• Managing project timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
• Serving as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT groups
• Participating in system and acceptance testing
• Extent of work may vary depending on the team project

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
• Fundamental knowledge of data security and risk management principles, theories, and strategies
• Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm preferred
• Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) preferred
• Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement is preferred
• Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fundamental knowledge of technical environment required
• Openness to Agile philosophies preferred
• Coursework or experience related to Network Security preferred
• Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
• Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year preferred
• Experience tackling business problems in a capstone or case competition preferred
