Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Processing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments
- Identifying and addressing breaks recognized between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents
- Handling Corporate Activity Events, settling/reconciling transfer activity, and processing/reconciling returns activity
- Conducting research on complex/escalated issues and performing testing/validation of new innovation improvements and vendor changes
- Completing projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account
- Collaborating with Retail and Institutional Company Teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
- Communicating with and working with arenaflex's internal teams, fund companies, transfer brokers, opposite organizations, and other outside business partners
Tasks Analysis:
* Review of membership deals or transactions requests
- Client/Advisor level exceptions
- Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Settlement of Business, Dividend, and Transfer Breaks
- Reconciliation between BOS and Fund Companies
- Evaluation and analysis of relevant tax code and corrections of tax coding
- Troubleshooting internal/external system enhancements or issues
- Origin of breaks between arenaflex, the Fund, etc.
- Delivering method or innovation solution options to Management
- Remediating transmission problems with the Fund or Contra Agency
- Providing customer or organization partner service
- Answering service partner inquiries relating to Fund specific requirements/eligibility
- Providing action on Choice Investment moves to expedite the customer request or remediate not in good order concerns
- Timely and accurate completion of client investing and returns requests
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
- Experience working in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Experience with tax coding and reconciliation
- Familiarity with BOS and Fund Companies systems
- Experience with testing/validation of new innovation improvements and vendor changes
