Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks that will challenge and engage you. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Processing a high volume of orders on a daily basis with an understanding of specific requirements for each order/customer
* Reviewing orders for accuracy and ensuring that all necessary information is complete and up-to-date
* Providing customers with timely responses to questions on order status, tracking, and other general inquiries
* Managing online customer orders and associated data via EDI portals, ensuring seamless communication and efficient order fulfillment
* Generating internal reports to sales and production teams, providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations
* Regularly communicating with the warehouse to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
* Invoicing orders daily, weekly, and as needed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment
* Supporting the sales and marketing team as needed, providing administrative assistance and contributing to the success of our business
* Handling other general office duties, including being able and willing to successfully rotate tasks within the department as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a high degree of proficiency and proven past experience in the areas of data entry using software, online portals, spreadsheets, etc. Some of the essential requirements for this position include:
* High degree of proficiency and proven past experience in the areas of data entry using software, online portals, spreadsheets, etc.
* Previous experience with ERP software, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality
* Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
* Attention to detail and excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Experience in a customer service and order processing environment, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations
* Ability to follow written, audio, visual, and verbal directions, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
