Develop, implement and maintain supply chain strategies and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans. Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for contracts and purchases. Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. Keep updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external suppliers. Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, including cost savings and process improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in the supply chain. Train and mentor junior members of the supply chain team. Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover. Lead cost reduction initiatives and contribute to overall cost-saving efforts. Proactively identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks and issues. Participate in supplier audits and evaluations to ensure quality standards are met. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management. Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards related to supply chain management. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.
