Job Summary The Elite Job is seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented legal transcriptionists who are fluent in Chinese, Malay, and English to join our dynamic team. As a legal transcriptionist, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing legal audio recordings, documents, and proceedings into written form. Key Responsibilities
- * Transcribe legal documents, audio recordings, court hearings, depositions, and other legal materials from Chinese, Malay, and English languages.
- * Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all transcriptions, maintaining high standards of quality.
- * Edit and proofread transcriptions to ensure clarity, consistency, and grammatical correctness.
- * Adhere to deadlines, managing multiple transcription tasks efficiently.
- * Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information and client data.
- * Communicate with clients to clarify any issues or ambiguities in the transcribed content.
- * Stay updated on legal terminologies and transcription technologies to ensure the highest level of accuracy.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- * Fluency in Chinese, Malay, and English with strong command over written communication in all three languages.
- * Proven experience in legal transcription or a related field (preferred).
- * Excellent listening and typing skills with the ability to transcribe quickly and accurately.
- * Proficiency with transcription software and tools.
- * Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- * Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Experience
- * Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in legal transcription, or a similar role in a legal or administrative capacity (preferred).
- * Previous work from home experience is a plus.
