Data Privacy and Technology Transactions Attorney / MA 02101 3063 PLEASE APPLY OR INQUIRE HERE: https://www.iprecruiter.com/ip-jobs-c.htm IP RECRUITER GROUP is recruiting for the following opportunity: Our client, a highly respected national law firm, with offices from coast to coast, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Privacy Technology Transactions Associate within their Intellectual Property practice group. In this role, you will deal with a wide range of responsibilities, leveraging your experience in a variety of transactional and technology related issues:
- Data privacy and cybersecurity, including cross-border transfers of data, investigations into security events, data security incident notifications, and responses to violations on privacy rights
- Drafting and negotiating various types of software related agreements (e.g., terms of service, license and reseller, SaaS)
- Leading IP and technology due diligence efforts regarding major commercial transactions
- Analyzing confidentiality and Intellectual Property provisions of agreements
- Drafting and negotiating patent licensing and technology transfer agreements
Notably, this is a highly collaborative team environment where you will interact with a multi-office team and a diverse client base. Requirements:
- 2-5 years of solid data privacy, cyber-security, and IP transactions experience in the above areas
- CIPP/US and CIPP/E certifications preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to contribute to client development
- JD, State Bar
