Responsibilities
Database Strategy & Oversight u25CFtLead end-to-end database architecture, configuration, and quality control u25CFtOversee builds for new implementations, renewals, and ongoing client u25CFtmaintenance u25CFtEnsure alignment between platform configuration and employer plan design u25CFtMaintain data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness Platform Builds & Configuration u25CFtBuild and configure benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary, Ancillary) u25CFtSet up: u25CBtEligibility rules, class structures, waiting periods u25CBtEmployer/employee contributions u25CBtRate structures and validations Upload and manage: u25CBtSBCs, benefit summaries, enrollment forms, payroll authorizations u25CFtConduct full system testing prior to enrollment launch (Aligned with Database Implementation Manager functions) EDI & API Integrations u25CFtManage and support EDI feeds and API integrations with carriers and payroll vendors u25CFtCoordinate with carriers, TPAs, and internal teams to: u25CBtEstablish file feeds u25CBtValidate data mapping and transmission accuracy u25CBtTroubleshoot eligibility, deduction, and enrollment discrepancies u25CFtMonitor ongoing integrations and resolve errors proactively Data Management & Reporting u25CFtAudit census data for completeness and accuracy u25CFtEnsure proper handling of: u25CBtDemographics, salaries, eligibility, dependent data u25CFtSupport payroll deduction reporting and carrier file outputs u25CFtPartner with Support Analyst team on reporting workflows (aligned with reporting & deduction responsibilities) Open Enrollment & Implementation Leadership u25CFtLead database readiness for Open Enrollment: u25CBtPlan rollovers and renewals u25CBtRate updates and eligibility changes u25CFtCollaborate on OE timelines and execution Ensure real-time support for enrollment teams during active enrollments Troubleshooting & Optimization u25CFtIdentify and resolve: u25CBtConfiguration errors u25CBtEligibility discrepancies u25CBtEnrollment issues impacting employees or payroll u25CFtEscalate platform issues and manage resolution timelines u25CFtRecommend automation and process improvements Team Support & Training u25CFtServe as escalation point for: u25CBtBenefit Counselors u25CBtScheduling & coordination teams u25CFtTrain internal team members on: u25CBtPlatform navigation u25CBtData accuracy standards u25CBtEnrollment workflows u25CFtContribute to SOP development and process documentation
Requirements
Experience u25CFtMinimum 2+ years experience building databases in: u25CBtEmployee Navigator (preferred) u25CBtEase, Selerix, Bswift, or similar platforms u25CFtProven experience with: u25CBtEDI file feeds and API integrations u25CBtBenefits administration systems and workflows u25CFtExperience supporting: u25CBtOpen Enrollment at scale u25CBtMulti-state or multi-client environments Qualifications u25CFtStrong understanding of: u25CBtEmployee benefits (medical + voluntary) u25CBtEligibility rules and plan design structures u25CFtAdvanced data management and troubleshooting skills u25CFtFamiliarity with: u25CBtPayroll systems and deduction reporting u25CBtSection 125 / pre-tax configurations u25CFtHigh attention to detail and process discipline u25CFtDetail-obsessed and systems-driven u25CFtA problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments u25CFtComfortable owning both strategy and execution u25CFtPassionate about improving the employee benefits experience through technology Location: Remote - GMT-06:00 to GMT-04:00 Skills required for this job:
