Overview: Join Coherent Corp., the world's leading photonics innovator, as Assistant General Counsel for Real Estate and Environmental Health & Safety. This strategic legal role offers the opportunity to shape legal frameworks at a company experiencing explosive growth. You will serve as the principal in-house attorney for real estate and EHS matters across Coherent’s global footprint, with primary focus on complex real estate transactions and property management and global health and safety regulatory compliance. Partner with worldclass Facilities, EHS, Operations, and Legal teams to drive strategic growth initiatives while managing legal risk in one of technology's most dynamic sectors. Experience: 6+ years of experience in real estate and EHS law, including significant in-house counsel experience or advising industrial/manufacturing clients at a recognized law firm. Experience negotiating and managing commercial real estate transactions. Experience with global environmental statutes and regulations; CAL OSHA experience is preferred. Location/Relocation: Santa Clara, CA; In office Tuesday through Thursday. Local preferred, relo offered. Compensation: $150-310K base and 25% target bonus, plus equity and benefits.
