EHS Leader – North America Operations, Maintenance and Upgrades
Job Description:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for EHS across North America.
- Lead a team of Environmental, Health, and Safety specialist.
- Champion a proactive safety culture prioritizing employee well-being.
- Establish clear roles, standard work, and development plans for the EHS field team.
- Drive consistent EHS expectations and support customer engagement.
- Identify trends, assess risk, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in the field of EHS or engineering.
- 15+ years of EHS leadership experience, ideally in renewable energy or industrial sectors.
- Proven ability to lead distributed teams and influence across a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data for decision-making.
- Communicate complex messages and negotiate internally and externally to influence outcomes.
