FMRD - EHS Chemical Operations Leader

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and implementing EHS initiatives for our chemical operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a culture of safety and responsibility. Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs for chemical operations in accordance with 3M standards and applicable regulations. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations and requirements. Lead the development and implementation of safety and environmental management systems for chemical operations. Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate EHS risks in chemical operations. Provide guidance and support to site leaders and employees on EHS issues and best practices. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees in chemical operations. Monitor and analyze EHS data to identify trends and implement corrective actions. Lead incident investigations and ensure timely and effective corrective actions are taken. Stay informed of industry trends and changes in EHS regulations and proactively make adjustments to company policies and procedures as needed. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility through communication, engagement, and recognition programs. Manage and maintain relationships with external agencies and stakeholders related to EHS for chemical operations. Develop and manage the EHS budget for chemical operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for EHS performance in chemical operations. Represent 3M in EHS forums and industry events as needed. 3M is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
