Associate Director, Graduate Career Counselor
The UH Law Center is hiring an Associate Director, Graduate Career Counselor to manage career counseling services for graduate or professional law students. The role involves planning and executing programs, supervising counseling staff, fostering employer relationships, and providing career counseling and job search guidance to students and alumni. - Manage day-to-day operations of career counseling services and develop delivery systems.
- Supervise counseling staff and promote their professional development.
- Develop strategies to assist students and alumni in career decision-making and job searches.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers and professional organizations.
- Serve as a liaison for student and professional organizations to coordinate events and presentations.
- Collect and analyze employment data and respond to national surveys.
- Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions for students and alumni.
- Provide training, mentoring, and support for law students, including bar exam preparation and advising during challenging situations.
- Requires a Master's degree or equivalent and at least three years of related experience; education and experience may be substituted.
- Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
