Grade coursework as appropriate. Develop curriculum in collaboration with PEOPLE Educational Content Specialist. This position is part-time and a terminal appointment. Will be expected to work from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM from June 29, 2026, through July 10, 2026. This position is fully on-site. Key Job Responsibilities: Develop hands-on activities Arrange field trips as appropriate Facilitates classroom and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses including assessment of student performance Assists with the development of instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction under the direction of an academic staff or faculty member Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations Department: Division for Teaching and Learning, Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) Our precollege program is designed to help students become viable college candidates for UW-System institutions, with an emphasis on UW-Madison. PEOPLE will help college scholars progress toward graduation and ensure that the students’ college experience is enriching; intellectually, socially, personally, and professionally. Compensation: The annual salary for the position is $45,000, and will be pro-rated based on FTE and appointment duration.
