The candidate must have a deep understanding of tax preparation, #ultratax, tax returns, income tax preparation, and public tax. This position is a contract role, and the candidate will work with a team of finance professionals to provide exceptional tax preparation services to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
- Work with clients to gather necessary tax documents and information
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Utilize #ultratax software to prepare tax returns efficiently and accurately
- Communicate with clients to answer questions and provide tax advice
- Review tax returns prepared by other team members
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and related fields
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Experience with #ultratax software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPA certification preferred but not required
