Senior Specialist, Sales Tax Compliance
Job Description:
- Support and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams: Shared Services (Tax Compliance, AP, AR, Lease and Project Costing), Corporate Tax, Brand Legal, Development, Payroll Tax, Brand Reporting and Finance.
- Coordinate with 3rd party co-sourcing vendors, state and local taxing jurisdictions, and business licensing offices.
- Provide outstanding customer service, interacting directly with all levels within the organization and suppliers and service providers.
Requirements:
- Associates degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills are necessary.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines handling or escalating conflicting priorities while experiencing possible frequent interruptions in very fast paced and high-volume environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and drive change
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business/finance preferred.
- Strong systems and software aptitude (JD Edwards, Reports Now, and Oracle helpful).
- Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills.
