Provide expert tax advice and guidance to the company's leadership team and other stakeholders. Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex tax issues, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to key decision makers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are properly addressed in all aspects of the M&A process. Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and assess their potential impact on the company's M&A activities. Oversee the preparation and review of tax calculations, provisions, and disclosures related to mergers and acquisitions. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and other third-party service providers, as needed. Monitor and report on the company's tax position and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
