Remote Legal (Aderant) Billing Specialist, CST, PST or MST
Legal Billing Specialist Fully Remote: CST, MST or PST A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Billing Specialist to support complex, high-volume billing portfolios across domestic and international clients. This role is highly visible and works closely with attorneys, finance, and leadership to drive efficient billing operations and deliver exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle billing for high-volume, complex client portfolios, including global accounts
- Review, edit, finalize, and submit invoices in accordance with client guidelines
- Handle electronic billing submissions and troubleshoot rejections across vendor platforms
- Perform root-cause analysis on billing issues and implement solutions to improve processes
- Partner with attorneys and internal teams to support billing strategy and resolve inquiries
- Prepare and review accruals, reporting, and client-specific billing requirements
- Coordinate global billing efforts, including collaboration with international offices
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and mentoring to team members
Requirements (Must-Have):
- 5+ years of legal billing experience within a large law firm environment
- Aderant experience required
- Expertise in eBilling platforms such as BillBlast, eBillingHub, Legal Tracker, CounselLink, etc.
- Experience managing complex, high-volume billing portfolios (domestic and global)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to troubleshoot complex billing issues and work cross-functionally
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience acting as a senior resource or team lead
