Part-Time Bookkeeping & Administrative Assistant

• *Job Overview** We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeping & Administrative Assistant to support a growing bookkeeping firm. This role includes a mix of routine bookkeeping, client support, phone communication, and light administrative work. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys structure, takes pride in accurate work, communicates professionally, and wants to build a lasting role with the firm and grow over time.   • *Responsibilities
  • Perform routine bookkeeping tasks for small business clients
  • Categorize transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable support
  • Follow up with clients for missing documents and information
  • Answer phones and communicate professionally with clients
  • Help keep workflows, notes, and client files organized
  • Assist with cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping projects as needed
  • Prepare work for review and follow internal processes carefully
  • Support light administrative tasks to help keep daily operations running smoothly
  • *Qualifications
  • Prior bookkeeping experience required
  • QuickBooks Online experience preferred
  • Must reside in Colorado
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with clients on the phone
  • Organized and able to manage recurring tasks independently
  • Able to follow established systems and procedures
  • Reliable, responsive, and accountable
  • Comfortable learning new tools and processes
  • Must have your own computer equipment and reliable high-speed internet
  • *What We’re Looking For**

We are looking for someone who is not afraid to make mistakes, but who will own them, correct them, and learn from them. Perfection is not the expectation. Accountability is. The right person should be comfortable asking questions when needed, while also retaining direction and applying it moving forward. Asking thoughtful questions is encouraged. Repeatedly asking the same question without applying prior guidance is not a fit for this role. You should be professional on the phone, organized in your work, and able to communicate clearly with clients while representing the business well. This role is best suited for someone who values consistency, takes ownership of their work, and wants to build a long-term working relationship with a growing firm.
