Therapists Clinicians Counselors
Job Summary We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and energetic Therapists, Clinicians, and Counselors to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate documentation and treatment planning
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes and ensure patient safety
- Facilitate specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Coordinate case management activities to support patients’ ongoing needs across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records with detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research initiatives or clinical research projects to enhance treatment outcomes and advance best practices
Skills
- Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing and crisis management to effectively support clients through challenging situations
- Strong background in child & family counseling, working with children with disabilities or in special education environments
- Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate medical documentation and billing purposes
- Experience with telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling sessions efficiently
- Ability to handle complex cases involving trauma, PTSD, chronic pain management or substance addiction using evidence-based approaches
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health conditions
- Excellent communication skills for intake assessments, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration
