Full/Part Time Mental Health Therapist

Full/Part Time Therapist Job Description My Empowering Impact (MEI) is the premier organization for Counseling, Supervision, Training, and Continuing Education in the state of Maryland. MEI is owned and operated by a clinician making your experience and growth as a therapist optimal. The person selected for this position must have excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Must pass a required background check.

• We are looking to add Part-Time/Full-Time licensed therapists
• Must be licensed in the State Of Maryland*

• Clinicians who are Board-Approved Supervisors are a plus Job Summary

• The Therapist will provide specialized services to include diagnosis, assessments, counseling and treatment planning. The therapist's role is responsible for working with individuals to promote optimum mental health by assisting in the fulfillment of the organization’s mission of empowering people in many areas of life.

Therapist Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, manage and implement therapeutic interventions and techniques with clients
• Interview clients and assess their current condition, needs, strengths and weaknesses
• Address each case and set tailored measurable goals
• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
• Offer information and counseling on the best course of action during sessions
• Complete treatment plans, progress notes etc.. on time and/or as needed
• Maintain accurate records/documentation and report on clients’ status
• Complete documentation within appropriate time frame
• Refer clients to community services and resources as needed
• Collaborate and coordinate care for clients as needed
• Use EMR, technology and computers
• Social perceptiveness and empathy
• Build and maintain professional helping relationships
• Relate and communicate with diverse population and groups
• Resilience along with ability to assess situations
• Remain Ethical and provide reasonable accommodations for clients (i.e scheduling, competence)
• Willing to submit to background check/ Randomized Drug Test
• Knowledge of social theories and practices
• Other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour Benefits:
