School Occupational Therapist - West Springfield, Massachusetts

Make a meaningful impact by providing Occupational Therapy services during the Extended School Year (ESY) term in Ludlow, MA. This contract position is perfect for a skilled OT interested in working with students across Ludlow and Brush Hill, with a flexible, part-time summer schedule. The assignment runs from July 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026, and focuses on delivering quality care to approximately 20 students—helping them maintain and build essential skills over the summer. Qualifications:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapy license meeting state regulatory requirements
• Prior experience delivering OT services in school settings highly preferred
• Ability to evaluate and implement therapy plans for diverse student needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills with students, families, and faculty
• Commitment to flexibility and adapting to evolving caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to a group of approximately 20 students based primarily in Ludlow, with a periodic half-day in West Springfield
• Assess and document each student's current abilities and therapeutic needs
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to establish and pursue appropriate ESY goals
• Adapt therapy strategies to suit the unique learning environment and summer schedule
• Maintain clear records of sessions, goal progress, and communication with stakeholders
