1099 Sales Closer – Business Financing

What You’ll Do As a Sales Closer at REIL Capital your primary responsibility is to turn interested business owners into funded deals. You will:
- Speak with business owners seeking financing
- Understand their business, urgency, and capital needs
- Present funding options clearly and confidently
- Take control of the sales process and guide prospects toward a decision
- Identify whether prospects are working with other brokers or lenders and position REIL competitively
- Follow up aggressively until the deal closes or the opportunity is disqualified
- Coordinate with the internal team to finalize deals
- Manage your pipeline inside Salesforce and related tools
- Use phone, text, email, and other channels to move opportunities forward quickly
Top performers in this role are highly proactive, highly organized and skilled at building trust quickly while maintaining control of the deal. Type of Leads You’ll Work You will work a mix of:
- Warm outbound leads from targeted cold email campaigns
- Partner and referral-driven opportunities
- SDR-qualified opportunities
- Inbound business owners expressing interest in financing
- Some colder opportunities that require strong qualification and follow-up
This is not an order-taking role. You must be able to work opportunities that vary in urgency and quality, and move them forward through persistence, skill, and strong process control.
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is 100% commission-based with significant earning potential.

Industry experience is helpful, but not required if the candidate is sharp, coachable and can execute at a high level. Definition of Success Success in this role is measured by both activity and results. Top performers maintain strong outreach volume while consistently converting opportunities into funded deals. Daily Activity Expectations
- 80-120 outbound calls per day
- 20-40 personalized follow-up emails per day
- 20-30 SMS/text follow-ups per day
- Immediate response to hot leads and new opportunities
Lead Management Expectations
- Respond to new leads as quickly as possible with a target of under 5 minutes whenever feasible
- Maintain follow-up across multiple channels including phone, email, text, and video when appropriate
- Keep the CRM clean and updated in real time
- Stay on top of active opportunities and keep momentum moving
Pipeline Development Expectations
- 8 deals per month and around 40-50k in revenue
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified financing opportunities
- Consistently move prospects from conversation to application to approval to close
Deal Conversion Expectations
- Present funding options clearly and confidently
- Follow up relentlessly until a prospect moves forward or is disqualified
- Create urgency where needed
- Stay in control of the opportunity from first contact to funded deal
Top performers in this role are able to handle high activity, manage many moving parts, and close business without needing constant oversight. Location Flexibility This role is remote and open to candidates in the U.S. or Canada. Preference may be given to candidates open to working in person or in a hybrid format with team members in the New York area, but this is not required.
