Senior Sourcing Specialist - Critical Infrastructure

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As the Critical Infrastructure Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing key resources for our critical infrastructure projects. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in sourcing and procurement, as well as a deep understanding of critical infrastructure and its unique challenges. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for critical infrastructure projects, in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and vendors for critical infrastructure resources. Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing for materials and services. Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely and efficient sourcing of critical infrastructure resources. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations, in all sourcing activities. Monitor and track supplier performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain a database of qualified suppliers and vendors for critical infrastructure projects. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies in the critical infrastructure sector. Provide guidance and support to junior sourcing team members, as needed. Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives. Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, including cost savings, supplier performance, and market trends. Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and finance, to ensure seamless and efficient sourcing processes. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and improve sourcing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Adhere to ethical and sustainable sourcing practices in alignment with the company's values and goals.
