Senior Director Organic Marketing (SEO, AEO, GEO) Roles & Responsibilities Overview Vuja Dé Digital is seeking a Senior Director of Organic Marketing to develop an organic search department focused on client fulfillment, tactical innovation, and scaling growth. This role is accountable for delivering best practices across:
- Traditional search engines: Google, Bing, YouTube, Amazon, App Stores
- AI-powered search and answer experiences across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claud, Co-Pilot
- Strategic Cross-Channel Coordination
- Internal Operations Management
- Department Growth Road Mapping
This role will operate as an executive-level, client-facing growth leader, responsible for turning organic into a measurable business driver—not a traffic channel or content function. Additionally, this role will be responsible for department growth and management as a line of business. What You’ll Own 1. Organic Growth as a System
- Define and lead clients facing end-to-end organic growth strategies centered around primary and secondary KPIs:
- Awareness
- Traffic
- Revenue
- Build SOPs that allow for systematic deployment of organic search tactics that act as a compounding system across tech, content, and linking best practices.
- Integrate organic into broader media and analytics ecosystems while developing a reporting system that accounts for incremental analysis.
Expectation: Organic is planned with the same rigor as paid media—forecasted, prioritized, and accountable. 2. Search & AI Discovery Strategy
- Own how companies show up across brand and non-branded searches:
- Google Search (traditional + AI-driven results)
- Secondary search engines
- AI-powered answer experiences
- Emerging generative discovery environments
- Develop strategies that ensure:
- Client sites are compliant with technical best practices
- Content is discoverable, interpretable, and usable by both search engines and AI systems
- Brands are represented accurately and competitively in AI-generated responses
- Lead SEO as both:
- Demand capture (existing intent)
- Demand creation (shaping discovery)
- Oversee:
- Technical SEO (crawlability, indexation, site architecture)
- Content strategy tied to intent + business value
- Internal linking and authority development
- External Linking coordination
- Organic Social integration
3. Content & Authority Ecosystem
- Architect content systems that:
- Build topical authority
- Support full-funnel user journeys
- Drive measurable business outcomes
- Can be leveraged across organic channels
- Extend beyond on-site content into:
- PR, partnerships, and off-site authority signals
- Distribution strategies that influence discovery
4. Measurement & Business Impact
- Define how organic contributes to:
- Revenue and lead generation
- Blended CAC efficiency
- Assisted conversions and incrementality
- Partner with analytics to:
- Integrate organic into attribution models
- Connect performance to real business outcomes

6. Cross-Channel Integration
- Partner with:
- Paid Search → shared intent and keyword strategy
- Programmatic → audience and contextual signals
- Analytics → measurement frameworks
- Web Development → development integration into SEO
- Organic Social→ Leverage all social channels to boost organic visibility
- Ensure organic is embedded within Vuja Dé’s See → Think → Plan → Do → Learn system
What Success Looks Like Within 6–12 months:
- Organic is positioned as a core growth driver, not a support function
- Clients understand how organic impacts revenue—not just traffic
- Vuja Dé has a clear, differentiated POV on search in an AI-driven world
