Tax Manager Cpa
Join Integrated Law, PLLC as a Tax Manager (CPA) in a fully remote, paperless practice where proven experience matters. This role requires a seasoned CPA with hands‑on, day‑to‑day expertise in SafeSend, SurePrep, and UltraTax CS software and workflows, who can confidently lead teams and manage complex tax engagements in a remote environment. You’ll mentor tax professionals and administrative staff, navigate complex tax engagements, and contribute to a collaborative, paperless, remote environment grounded in kindness, transparency, and excellence. Responsibilities:
- Work hand in hand with the administrative support staff and Owner to further client work in with efficiency and concierge level client service.
- Lead and mentor tax staff, fostering growth and accountability
- Manage client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness in a team environment that thrives with open communication
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates while utilizing our SafeSend, SurePrep, UltraTax CS software and workflows.
- Advise on high-net-worth tax planning strategies, including Roth conversions, entity structuring, and estate planning
- Conduct tax research and provide written analysis on complex issues
- Represent clients before the IRS and state departments of revenue, as needed
- Review partnership agreements and analyze pass-through entity structures
- Prepare tax projections and guide clients proactively throughout the year Qualifications:
- CPA license (active), Washington
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting or a hybrid of public and industry
- Proven leadership in team management, staff training, and client engagement
- Expertise in high-net-worth individual returns, closely-held businesses, and multi-entity structures
- Experience with estate and gift tax returns (706/709), FBAR compliance, and complex investment portfolios
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in UltraTax CS, Sure Prep, SafeSend, and Microsoft 365 tools (Planner, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Bonus: Law degree or Master of Laws in Taxation Compensation: $135,000 - $165,000 yearly
