Local SEO + AEO Strategist for Home Service Businesses (Restoration / Emergency Services)
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are a growing marketing agency focused on local home service businesses (restoration / emergency work) including water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation companies. We are looking for an experienced Local SEO + AEO (AI Search Optimization) Strategist to help us refine and standardize our website structure, content strategy, and local SEO framework. This is a strategy-focused role (not execution-heavy). We are not looking for basic SEO advice, we want someone who understands how to drive high-intent local leads (calls) and how search is evolving with AI (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, etc.). We want someone who has a lot of experience in local SEO and is up to date with the direction that search is going. SCOPE OF WORK You will be helping us improve and standardize our system across multiple clients. 1. Website Structure & SEO Strategy Review our current website structure (Elementor-based) Recommend improvements to: Page hierarchy (service pages, city pages, etc.) Internal linking structure High-converting page types for emergency services Identify: What pages are essential What pages are unnecessary / low ROI 2. AEO (AI Search Optimization) Advise on how to structure content to rank in: ChatGPT / Google AI Overviews / etc. Recommend: FAQ structure Content formatting for AI visibility Schema strategy (FAQ, LocalBusiness, etc.) Help us build a repeatable AEO framework 3. Google Business Profile Alignment Best practices for: Connecting GBP to website pages Service/page alignment Local keyword targeting Recommendations for improving map pack + organic synergy 4. Local SEO System (Standardization) Help us create a repeatable system we can use across all clients: Site structure Content strategy Internal linking Focus on: Scalability Simplicity High ROI activities only IDEAL CANDIDATE Strong experience with local SEO for home service businesses Experience working with emergency or high-intent industries (restoration, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) Understanding of AEO / AI search (ChatGPT, SGE, etc.) Able to think in systems, not just tactics Focused on lead generation (calls), not just rankings PROJECT DETAILS One-time strategy project (with potential for ongoing work) We will provide: Existing site examples Current structure Deliverables: Clear recommendations Actionable structure/system we can implement BONUS (NOT REQUIRED) Experience with Elementor websites Familiarity with call tracking and lead attribution Conversion Rate Optimization knowledge Experience scaling SEO across multiple similar clients Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
