Local SEO Expert for Google Business Profile
We are seeking a local SEO expert to assist with Google Business Profile verification in Fort Worth. The ideal candidate will have experience in optimizing local search listings and ensuring accurate business information online. Responsibilities include verifying business profiles, managing online reputation, and enhancing local search visibility. This is a part-time, short-term project. We are a multi state law firm expanding into Downtown Fort Worth, Texas and need an experienced Local SEO contractor to assist with Google Business Profile (GBP) creation and on site verification. This role requires physically visiting our office location in Downtown Fort Worth and coordinating remotely with our SEO Manager during the verification process.
Responsibilities
•Create or assist in creating a new Google Business Profile for our Downtown Fort Worth office
- Complete GBP verification, including video verification or on site verification at the office address
- Coordinate with our SEO Manager during the verification session (live call or messaging)
- Capture required photos/video of signage, entrance, suite number, and interior if needed
- Confirm that the location meets Google’s verification requirements
- Provide timely communication and status updates
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Local SEO experience (GBP, citations, NAP consistency, local ranking factors)
- Direct experience creating and verifying Google Business Profiles
- Familiarity with video verification, postcard verification, and on site verification
- Ability and willingness to physically visit the Downtown Fort Worth office location
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow precise instructions
- Reliable smartphone with camera and stable internet connection
- Must be located in or near Fort Worth, TX
- Ability to receive mail eg. door signage to a physical address
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with law firms or regulated industries
- Understanding of Google’s quality guidelines and common suspension triggers
- Ability to troubleshoot verification issues such as rejections or re verification requests
- Availability during normal business hours
