Remote | Volunteer | Flexible Hours About Girlie Foundation Girlie Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to closing the menstrual and hormonal health education gap. Through free digital tools, school and workplace partnerships, and community workshops, we empower women with the knowledge and resources to understand and care for their bodies. Our mission is to provide accessible, science-based menstrual and hormonal health education—regardless of income, location, or background. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Writer to support our fundraising efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is excited about women’s health, education equity, and building impact-driven programs from the ground up. You will play a key role in helping secure funding to expand our digital platform, pilot programs in schools and workplaces, and community outreach initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities (foundations, corporate, and government)
- Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and funding applications
- Collaborate with leadership to gather program details, budgets, and impact data
- Track grant deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements
- Assist in developing a grant calendar and funding strategy
- Support reporting and follow-up communications with funders
Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Experience in grant writing, fundraising, nonprofit work, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Passion for women’s health, education, and social impact
