Short-Form Video Editor Needed for Music Tour Content | Premiere or DaVinci Only | Starting ASAP

Overview

I'm a tour content creator working with an active music act on the road. Every day I capture hours of raw footage: candid moments, behind-the-scenes, travel, performances, fan interactions. I need an editor who can work through that footage and cut it into multiple types of short-form social media content, while also staying ahead of the posting schedule, not just keeping up with it. This is not a "polish my already-cut video" role. You need to be a storyteller who can find the moment in a sea of clips. How the Workflow Works: Raw footage uploaded to a shared Google Drive daily I maintain a Footage Index that logs every clip, what's in it, and flagged moments worth using You use that index as your roadmap, no scrubbing blind through hours of footage You pull the right clips, cut the content, and deliver on schedule Part of the job is getting ahead of the content calendar when footage allows, not just delivering day-of What You'll Edit: Four content types on a rolling basis: Tour Vlogs - Day-on-the-road mini docs, under 2 min, personality-driven Performance Clips - Stage footage with text overlays (hooks, lyrics, call to action) Talking to Performance - A member speaks about a song or moment, cuts into a performance clip Band Personality / Candid Moments - Offstage life, humor, real interactions Expect 1-3 deliverables per day depending on what footage came in. Schedule and Rate: Monday through Friday only Approximately 3-4 hours per day Rate: $40/hour Contract length: 4 weeks to start Start date: within the next 2-3 days You're Right for This If: You edit in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (non-negotiable) You have a portfolio of lifestyle, travel, creator, or music content under 3 minutes You understand social media pacing for Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts You're comfortable working from unstructured raw footage with no pre-written script You can start within 2-3 days and commit to the full 4-week run You communicate clearly and hit deadlines without being chased You're NOT Right for This If: You edit in Final Cut, CapCut, or anything other than Premiere or DaVinci Your portfolio is corporate or long-form only You need pre-selected clips or detailed shot lists to get started You can't start immediately To Apply: Send two examples of short-form lifestyle or music content you edited from raw footage, your availability to start, and confirmation you work in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
