Long-Form Video Editor — AI/Tech Content (Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects + Remotion) - Contract to Hire

Reprise AI is an AI automation company based in Tampa, FL helping 7–8 figure service businesses implement custom AI solutions. We also run an 18,000+ member Skool community and a YouTube channel with 73,000+ subscribers producing long-form educational content on AI automation, Claude Code, n8n, and building AI businesses. Average video length is 21 minutes. You'd be working directly with the founder (Nick) to edit and produce video content that drives the channel. Every visual the viewer sees? That's on you. The Role This isn't a "cut the clips and add transitions" job. You own the visual experience of every video. When Nick explains a concept on camera, you decide what the viewer sees on screen to make that concept land — motion graphics, whiteboard-style diagrams, animated slide showcases, callouts, and visual metaphors. What we expect: Own everything on screen. Motion graphics in After Effects. Excalidraw-style whiteboard animations. Animated slide showcases. On-screen callouts and visual metaphors. If Nick is explaining how an n8n workflow works, you build the visual that makes it click. Nail the pacing. Long-form only works when the pacing is right. You know when to cut, when to breathe, when to hit with a visual. No filler — just rhythm. Know the AI space. Our content covers Claude Code, n8n, AI agents, new model releases. You need to already understand this world. Prior experience with AI tools is required, not optional. Work in Premiere Pro & After Effects daily. Proficiency in both is non-negotiable. Move fast and iterate. Feedback is async (Loom, comments). When you get notes, you turn around revisions quickly.

Requirements

Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro Strong Adobe After Effects (motion graphics, animated overlays, visual effects) Ability to create Excalidraw-style whiteboard animations, hand-drawn diagrams, and flowcharts Experience building animated slide showcases and presentation overlays within video Strong sense of pacing and audience retention for long-form content (15–60+ min) Prior hands-on experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, n8n, or similar) Understanding of the AI/tech content space and what this audience cares about Audio cleanup, mixing, and sound design Must overlap with U.S. timezones reliably

Nice to Have

Hands-on automation experience (n8n, Make, or Zapier) Experience with Claude Code or AI coding tools YouTube optimization (thumbnails, chapter markers, retention editing) Portfolio featuring motion graphics in educational or tech content Availability & Hours Minimum 10 hours/week, scaling up to 60 hours/week during high-output periods.
