We’re building a world-class content engine across YouTube, Instagram, and short-form platforms—and we need someone who can lead it, scale it, and maintain elite quality. Your Role: As our Social Media and Video Editor, you will combine:
- Advanced Video Editing
- Team Leadership & Oversight
- Content Strategy Execution
- Production Management
You will not only edit content—you will lead a team of editors, ensuring both the quality and quantity of output meets our growth goals. You will own the full post-production pipeline—from raw footage to final delivery—while managing and elevating the team. Your Work Will Directly Impact:

Responsibilities: 1. Video Editing & Content Production
- Deliver the required number of high-quality long-form YouTube videos per week
- Oversee creation of required short-form videos weekly (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
- Ensure all content meets high standards for:
- Strong hooks (first 1–3 seconds)
- Retention and pacing
- Watch time and engagement
- Add captions, b-roll, motion graphics, zooms, and sound effects
- Continuously improve edits based on performance data
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a team of video editors
- Review, give feedback, and approve edits before publishing
- Maintain consistent quality across all content
- Ensure deadlines and output targets are met
- Train and develop editors to improve performance and efficiency
- Build scalable editing workflows and systems
3. Content Oversight & Quality Control
- Take full ownership of final content output
- Ensure brand consistency across all videos
- Balance speed and quality at scale
- Identify gaps and improve creative execution across the team
4. Content Strategy Collaboration
- Work closely with the content and strategy team
- Help shape editing styles based on performance trends
- Identify viral formats and winning structures
- Align editing direction with brand growth goals
5. Content Repurposing
- Oversee transformation of long-form videos into short-form clips
- Identify viral, emotional, and high-value moments
- Ensure content is optimized for each platform (not just cutdowns)
6. Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Analyze views, retention, and engagement
- Improve editing direction using data (not guesswork)
- Test new formats and scale what works across the team
7. Workflow & Ownership
- Own and manage the entire post-production pipeline
- Organize assets, timelines, and team workflows
- Deliver consistently and on time
- Operate with high accountability and minimal supervision
- Scale output without sacrificing quality
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in video editing (long-form and short-form)
- Proven experience leading or managing a team of editors
- Strong experience in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- MisterHorse (Animation Composer)
- Deep understanding of:
- Hooks and retention
- YouTube and short-form algorithms
- Performance-based editing
- Proven portfolio (required)
- Experience handling high-volume content production
- Strong leadership, communication, and feedback skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Full-time commitment only (no side jobs)

Nice to Have:
- Experience with large YouTube or Instagram pages
- Background in finance, business, or education content
- Experience working with influencers or creators
