QA Engineer — White Box & Black Box Testing
About the job We're looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer who can operate across the full testing spectrum — from black box functional testing to white box code-level validation. You'll play a critical role in ensuring product quality and reliability before every release. Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and edge-case scenarios
- Perform white box testing including code coverage analysis, unit test reviews, and logic path validation
- Build and maintain automated test suites to support continuous delivery
- Collaborate with developers to identify defects early, reproduce issues, and verify fixes
- Document bugs, track quality metrics, and advocate for release readiness standards
Requirements:
- Solid experience in both white box (unit, integration, code review) and black box (functional, regression, exploratory) testing
- Proficiency with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) for writing and reviewing test cases at the code level
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development workflows
- API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or similar) is a plus
