Your Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building, scaling, and maintaining a modern cloud-native infrastructure. You’ll work closely with engineering, security, and compliance teams to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance across a multi-region environment. This role requires strong ownership, problem‑solving, and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, production‑critical environment. You will:

• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Manage and scale Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Provision, maintain, and upgrade AWS services including RDS, networking, compute, and storage components.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Oversee and maintain GitLab infrastructure and engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with security and legal teams to support compliance initiatives (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
• Monitor infrastructure performance using tools like Grafana, CloudWatch, and other observability platforms.
• Implement strong alerting, monitoring, and incident response processes.
• Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis, ensuring long‑term fixes are implemented.
• Participate in architecture design, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and infrastructure standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high‑performing DevOps culture.

✅ What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Strong experience with AWS, especially in multi‑region environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability systems.
• Experience with GitLab or similar DevOps platforms.
• Knowledge of IAM, VPC design, networking, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience working in regulated or compliance‑driven environments.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle production incidents.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or crypto environments.
• Familiarity with cost optimization (FinOps).
• Understanding of blockchain or digital assets.
