Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) Location: Remote Client: Conduent 2- 5 years of experience Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) Job Summary The Oracle DBA is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, performance tuning, and security of Oracle database systems. This role ensures high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of databases supporting critical business applications. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c, 21c)
- Expertise in RMAN backup and recovery
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard, RAC, and ASM
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming
- Performance tuning using AWR, ADDM, ASH reports
- Experience with database patching and upgrades
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Scripting skills (Shell, Python)
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS RDS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI)
- Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate replication
- Experience with Exadata systems
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins)
Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Oracle certifications (OCA/OCP/OCE) preferred Soft Skills
