Part-time Nanny / RBT, BT, OTA (W2, Weekends 10-2PM)
We are seeking a proactive, organized Part-time Nanny with BT, RBT, or OTA experience to support our preschool-aged child on the weekends in a long-term role. This position is ideal for a Behavioral Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) or developmental professional seeking consistent hours in a private home setting. Schedule Saturdays and/or Sundays, 10:00am–2:00pm. Optional additional hours available as back-up weekday care. Pay & Benefits: $35–40/hour DOE, W-2 position, paid sick time, mileage reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Drive to therapy sessions and activities
- Reinforce therapy strategies and support structured routines
- Proactively manage transitions and maintain clear safety boundaries
- Provide play-based, developmentally appropriate engagement
- Maintain strong awareness in public settings
- Lead care independently while parents work from home
- Complete light child-related tasks and occasional small family support tasks as time permits
Qualifications:
- BT/RBT/OTA or developmental experience required
- Strong executive functioning and ability to manage schedules independently
- Naturally stays one step ahead during transitions
- Comfortable confidently leading care in a collaborative home environment
- Reliable vehicle with valid California driver’s license and active California auto insurance
- Current CPR certification
- College degree preferred
