This is a paid freelance, remote position. We're looking for a Social Media Content Specialist to join the Polygon team. This role is ideal for someone who understands internet culture, thrives in a high-volume content environment, and knows how to transform editorial content into engaging social-first experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and optimize engaging content tailored for social media platforms Monitor and manage social channels, ensuring timely and relevant posting Ideate and execute original entertainment content for social audiences Manage content uploads across platforms, including Emaki and native social tools Adapt written editorial stories into compelling video content for social distribution Collaborate with the Social and editorial teams to streamline content posting and adapt quickly to news updates

Requirements

Strong video editing skills with an eye for platform-specific trends 2-5 years of experience Solid understanding of audience data and performance analytics Excellent communication and collaboration skills Highly creative with a strong sense of what performs on social media Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-output environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity and content creation
